Ozone generators produce ozone by breaking apart oxygen (O2) molecules into single atoms, which then attach to other oxygen molecules in the air to form ozone (O3).

There are several methods to produce Ozone artificially, but the most popular are the Corona Discharge by dissociation of molecular oxygen electrically and UV Radiation, that produces ozone photo chemically.
• Corona Discharge method: consist in an electrical discharge characterized by a corona and occurring when one of two conducting surfaces (such as electrodes) in a gas is shaped such that it concentrates the electric field at its tip and ionizes the surrounding air.
• Ultraviolet Radiation Method: This process of ozone generation uses UV light basically replicating the natural production of ozone in the upper atmosphere, breaking air or oxygen that gets transformed into ozone.
